Network Engineer SGS Technologies is looking for a Network Engineer for a long-term opportunity with one of our clients Tallahassee, FL.DURATION: 6 MONTHS + WITH EXTENSIONS – CONTRACT ROLE ONLYLocation: Tallahassee, FL Required Experience:- Networking fundamentals including the OSI model, TCP/IP communications, switching and routing concepts and protocols
- Load balancing principles and best practices, F5 experience strongly desired
- Firewalling concepts. Palo Alto experience strongly preferred.
- Cisco and Arista switches and routers and associated software platforms including NX-OS, and IOS
- Network engineering and technologies used in a large multi-tenant data center environment
- Problem-solving techniques
- Security principles and concepts
Skilled in:- Packet captures tools and analysis
- SIEM tools, log files, data correlation and analysis
- Network diagnostic tools, including Wireshark
