We are searching for a
Simulation Systems Test Engineer with special qualifications to support the Navigation, Seamanship, and Ship-handling Trainer (NSST) program in Orlando, FL.The NSST is a computerized bridge simulator that allows Sailors to practice ship handling, navigation, and visual information skills in a controlled environment.The Simulation Systems Test Engineer performs testing requirements for simulation products, systems, software and/or related technology:- Partner with applicable technology teams to determine testing parameters
- Write test plans and create test cases for the product
- Conduct quality assurance and design performance tests using established testing procedures
- Partner with other department engineers and developers in creating practical test demonstrations for proposed technology
- Work closely with customer test teams on site
- Troubleshooting any testing errors and streamline testing procedures
- Ensures that testing methodology and procedures meet company and industry standards
- Prepare reports and track deficiencies and analysis for testing
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology and best practices relevant to the industry

- ROTA, Spain
- 2+ years of experience in systems installation and testing to include software and hardware (modeling and simulation experience preferred)
- Valid US Passport
- US Citizenship required; Secret clearance a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under minimum supervision
- Availability to travel 50% of the time including OCONUS
- Experience with travel procedures
- Availability to work different shifts
- Ability to report on-site in Orlando
