We are thrilled to announce the opening of an Office Manager position to support a leading Animal Sanctuary. We are seeking immediate placement for a dynamic individual who can seamlessly navigate multiple roles and contribute passionately to our organization.

This person will wear several hats – from paying the bills to managing a small staff, but a major component of this role will require providing direct, timely, and effective support to the president of the organization in order to fulfill our critical mission.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general office management tasks including correspondence, filing, ordering supplies, accounts payable, etc.

Offer hands-on support to our animal sanctuary division with direct care t Communicate with supporters and donors, both by phone and email. Manage payroll, staffing schedules and on-site consultants and

contractors.

Arrange and organize travel for the President, and key team members.

Fulfill merchandise orders for supporters – responding, mailing, tracking, ordering.

Generally assist the President to support his work toward the organizations mission.

Maintain a healthy, functional working environment for employees.

Key Qualifications:

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. Punctual, reliable, trustworthy, and have a versatile schedule. Work well with team members.

Confidence in handling all types of animals and a love for animals. Ability to lift over 50 pounds as this is a physical job.

Ability to thrive under pressure, follow directions effectively, and delegate tasks to a small team of employees.

Be experienced and competent in computer skills. Experience in Word Doc and Excel, a plus.

Must be available to work at the physical location (not a virtual opportunity).

Compensation:

The starting salary for this position is $41,000 annually. Must report to the physical location during standard work hours from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. Room for growth within the company.
