At Nielsen we want you to succeed as your most authentic self. About the area: The Operations Analyst is responsible for researching, analyzing and coding large volumes of iOS and Android mobile data to their corresponding Apps within our Classification Tool. They provide data to the Sr Analyst, Delivery Lead and Operations Manager to assist with identifying and resolving any misclassification or classification related issues.The Operations Analyst works with the Sr Analyst to support the day to day processes ensuring best practices are shared and followed. This position will support the Digital Classification Team. The Digital Classification Team is a fast paced production area with  monthly deliverables. The ideal person for this role must be very flexible with their schedule, is technology savvy, a self-starter, has great organizational skills, is an intuitive and creative problem solver and can maintain a positive attitude under tight deadlines. Your main responsibilities as Operations Analyst at Nielsen will be:This is a Hybrid role that is required to perform testing scenarios in our lab located at the GTIC in Oldsmar, Florida approximately 40% of the time per week.Process and support the classification of data, quality checks, defined reports while adhering to defined business rules and procedures, delivery schedules, and SLAsSupport a “root cause” culture to ensure that a true resolution is achieved for all misclassifications and other classification issues identifiedExecute test and document test resultsProvide consistent and clear updates on tickets in tracking toolsIdentify opportunities for procedure improvementSupport on-call rotations as required by the businessPerform quality checks to ensure the integrity of data for clients and downstream systemsResearches and analyzes data discrepanciesBe knowledgeable on defined procedures, delivery schedules and SLAs to ensure complianceEnsure the quality of assigned work, utilizing current QA standards and through established data relationships and calculationsProvide input on business requirements for system enhancementsProvide input or suggestions on process improvements What makes you the perfect fit for us?Uses logic to analyze data and capability to draw conclusions and convey or provide advice or consultation to business leaders The ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively both verbally and in written communication Proficient with the use of GOOGLE desktop toolsProficient use of mobile devices (phone/tablet)Respond effectively to diverse individuals and promote understanding and partnership among them Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with others effectively  Maintain composure and respond appropriately in stressful or crisis situations Demonstrate the ability to effectively resolve conflicts Ability to identify and leverage best practices The ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively both verbally and in written communicationAbility to multi-task, prioritize essential tasks and take initiativeWillingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changeUnderstanding of mobile apps, and streaming data would be an advantageNielsen: Enabling your best to power a better media future.
