Job Description:

The ETF Operations team is set up as representatives of BOFAS as an authorized participant and is responsible for the placement and settlement of ETF (Exchange Traded Funds) creations and redemptions in support of the portfolio trading desk and clients who engage in this business. The Settlement Oversight unit oversees and facilitates trade settlement of the ETF and its components which consist of equity and fixed income products. This position also manages the collateral with the sponsors to ensure timely settlement of the ETF. Additionally, the associate is responsible for risk mitigation for our clients and the firm through fails management via inventory allocations, Buy In coordination, and internal reconciliations which impact Regulatory reporting. Lastly, this role is involved with driving process improvements and will require the applicant to consistently suggest and implement operational efficiencies across a variety of day to day tasks.

Enterprise Role Overview:

Follows established written procedures and guidelines, provides standard reporting and analytical support. Uses established techniques, analyzes and resolves a wide variety of moderately complex operations problems and initiatives including transactions that require special handling and/or exception handling. Employees in this role typically have a college degree (Associates or higher) or comparable work experience. Required skills include: basic Excel knowledge, detail orientation, ability to manage multiple priorities and multi task, excellent time management and prioritization skills, ability to meet tight deadlines, ability and willingness to continuously learn on the job , ability to problem-solve and take ownership of process improvements, ability to work in a team environment, excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate with various stakeholders. Desired skills for this role include: expert Excel knowledge, Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar major preferred and basic understanding of and/or experience in Financial service industry.
