Paralegal

Description We are in search of a contract Paralegal to join our team operating in the legal industry. This role is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and offers contract employment opportunity. As a Paralegal, your role will primarily revolve around Discovery, where you will be working remotely and independently to meet deadlines.Responsibilities: Engaging in Discovery tasks and handling related legal documents. Utilizing Aderant and other Case Management Software for efficient case handling. Conducting Billing Functions to ensure accurate and timely invoices. Managing calendar events related to case timelines and deadlines. Ensuring clear and effective Communication with the team and relevant parties. Working on commercial litigation and general strong litigation cases.Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Paralegal role or similar legal field. Proficiency in using Aderant, a comprehensive legal software. Familiarity with Case Management Software to manage and track legal cases efficiently. Ability to handle Billing Functions, including invoice generation and payment tracking. Strong skills in Calendar Management to schedule meetings, appointments, and deadlines. Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear interaction with clients and legal teams. Experience in Discovery process, including gathering, processing, and interpreting legal information and documents.
