The University of Miami’s Frost School of Music is accepting applications for a Part-Time Lecturer in Contemporary Keyboard for the Modern Artist Development and Entrepreneurship department for the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year. The principal duty will include teaching private lessons to contemporary keyboard students at Frost. Additional teaching duties may be assigned as needed based on skills and background. One year of relevant teaching experience; prior college teaching experience is desirable.

Experience with electronic keyboards, synthesizers, and MIDI highly desirable.

Songwriting, arranging, and/or orchestration skills are highly desirable.

Master’s degree (or higher) in music is required. Equivalent professional experience may be given equal consideration in lieu of a degree.
