Part Time Security Staff

Part-time to Full-time security person needed for busy gated community. Must be able to walk stairs several times per shift and have a valid drivers license, with the ability to operate a golf cart and small pickup. Training provided. We are currently seeking a candidate to fill open shifts which may include week days and weekends. Shift hours are from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. and 10 p.m. to 6a.m. Flexibility is a plus. Retirees welcome.

Responsibilities

Patrol community regularly to maintain order and establish presence

Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles into the community

Direct commercial vehicles and parking

Secure all exits, doors and windows on common areas and report maintenance issues to manager

Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts

Open drawbridge as needed

Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences
