PC Technician

Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a PC Technician in the managed services industry. This position will be based in Miramar, Florida, and will require in-person duties, including delivering computers and providing supportive tech services. Responsibilities: Driving for extended periods to deliver computers to various locations Comfortably working in a team environment, often in a vehicle with truck drivers Ensuring the safe and secure transportation of computing equipment Applying knowledge of Dell Technologies, EO/IR systems, Microsoft, Networking, Operating System, Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deployments, and Deskside Support Providing technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware Installing, modifying, and repairing computer hardware and software Running diagnostic programs to resolve problems Installing computer peripherals for users Following up with customers to ensure the problem has been resolved Gaining feedback from customers to ensure they are comfortable with the role and its requirementsRequirements Proficiency in Dell Technologies Familiarity with EO/IR systems Proficient in Microsoft software and applications Knowledge of Networking principles and systems Understanding of various Operating Systems Experience with Active Directory Ability to manage and troubleshoot Computer Hardware Skills in Configuration Management Experience in Deployments Ability to provide Deskside Support Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
