Job Title: Pharmacy Tech-FulfillmentJob DescriptionAs a Pharmacy Tech-Fulfillment, you will be responsible for preparing and labeling prescriptions including counting, weighing, measuring, and pouring prescription medication or stock legend drugs and controlled substances. Your duties will also encompass the filling of an automated medication system. You will use the pharmacy's adjudication platform to enter the required information in order to record all legal requirements for the preparation of prescription verification by Pharmacist. You will ensure compliance with regulations from the applicable State Board of Pharmacy, local, state, and federal requirements as it pertains to prescriptions. Effective communication with prescribers, customers, other staff, and any other entity required to complete prescription is crucial. Additionally, you will assist the Pharmacist in reviewing, processing, preparing, filling, labeling and dispensing of medications and supplies. You will arrange work activities so that the pharmaceutical needs of customers are met, answer phones, respond to questions and requests or refer them to the appropriate staff for medication information. Your role will also involve verifying data entry information, maintaining records by recording and filling physician's orders and prescriptions, checking medications and administration supply inventory for out of date products, removing products from inventory and working with the appropriate resource to record out of date products. Lastly, maintaining a clean and safe pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules and regulations is a vital part of the job.Hard Skills

Job TypeThis is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in DORAL, FL.Work EnvironmentThe work environment is a closed-door fulfillment pharmacy located in Doral, FL. The working language is predominantly Spanish. It is a fast-paced environment where you will be working Monday to Friday. Two shifts are available: 7am - 3:30 pm and 9:30am - 6 pm.
