RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Power BI Back End Engineer in Miramar, FL.
Responsibilities: Power BI Back End Engineer will build Azure data solutions and provide technical perspective on storage, big data platform services Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture, including optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data, leveraging Databricks notebooks, Apache Spark (SQL, Python, Scala) and other Microsoft Azure or open-source tools as required Generate data schema layer and regular datasets for end-users using system tools and databases or data warehouse queries and scripts Platform administration and development for Informatica, MuleSoft, Azure Data Services, and Power BI Schematic Layers Back End Engineer will provide detailed approach and estimates for project solutionsREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar field or equivalent experience 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer working for complex and fast paced organization 4+ years of experience in Advanced with SQL Server databases and TSQL scripting 4+ years of proficiency in ETL or API Technology Concept Experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, Python, SQL or relational databases, Hadoop, and data pipeline management in Spark for batch and streaming Experience building 'big data' data pipelines, architectures. and data sets in the cloud Demonstrated experience with relational & non-relational databases; Experience with SQL Server databases and TSQL scripting Demonstrated experience with ETL/API scripts and tools for data integration between applications and platforms; Experience with Informatica, ADF, SSIS, and C# is a definite asset Demonstrate experience in cloud technology specifically Microsoft Azure Experience working in a fast-paced environment, ideally supporting a 24/7/365 organization Attention to detail with the ability to produce reliable, effective solutions Possess a positive attitude and ability to work in a collaborative and energetic team environment Ability to work with a globally distributed team Ability to collaborate with other teams to deliver quality solutionsKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
