All while understanding that together we are even better.Shift : Monday-FridayJob Location : RemoteThe role you’ll contribute:The Payment Reconciliation Center (PRC) supports the majority of AdventHealth facilities through various insurance payment activities. These activities include enrolling payers for electronic payment and remittance submissions (via electronic funds transfer [EFT] and electronic remittance advice [ERA]), monitoring timely receipt of payment and remittance transactions, evaluating exceptions and reconciling payments and remittances. The PRC Enrollment Supervisor leads a team of staff and experienced staff responsible for accurate and timely execution of various payer enrollment and reporting activities.The value that you bring to the team:Provide leadership and support to staff, including proactive training and guidance, troubleshooting support, issue escalation, and project prioritization
Identify and help resolve problems in the payer enrollment and reporting processes and when appropriate, identifies and initiates change to prevent future problems or improve existing processes
Lead and support continuous improvement activities by analyzing metrics and identifying needed system modifications and process changes, including implementing enhanced automation
Assist manager in department compliance with established policies and procedures of AdventHealth and helps ensure that all policies and procedures reflect compliance with government regulations
Collaborate with other supervisors on operational and strategic matters
Implement and monitor key performance indicators and productivity goals; identify root cause for variances and applicable process improvements; and report key findings to appropriate leadership
Responsible for the establishment and effectiveness of internal controls
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESOrganize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks
Provide effective feedback, coaching, counseling, or discipline to employees when needed
Assist manager in setting goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with AdventHealth plans and vision
Ensure that performance expectations are communicated to employees and that performance evaluations are fair and
conducted in a timely manner
Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
Recruit and retain qualified staff
Conduct orientation and training to staff
QualificationsThe expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:Minimum qualifications :Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or equivalent degree from a four-year accredited university or college; or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration plus three years of relevant work experience; or six years of relevant work experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree
Minimum two years of healthcare revenue cycle experience
Preferred qualifications:Experience working as a supervisor or lead with direct reports
Experience submitting and tracking ERA paperwork
