Job Purpose: Intermediate Product Developer(s) will focus on developing and revising child welfare training modules that will adequately deliver on-the-job training in a uniform and consistent manner by: •Designing and developing training modules in a variety of teaching methods including but not limited to lecture, discussion, case analysis, role-playing, presentations, small and large group exercises. •Applying training principles derived from Adult Learning Theory for effective training approaches. The Intermediate Product Developer will be working with the existing Learning and Development team in designing and developing the training modules that will be used by thousands of users throughout the State of Florida. This includes creating interactive and engaging courses, videos, and desk aids for asynchronous learning. The Intermediate Project Developers in this position will lead the instructional design process for assigned projects, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The Intermediate Product Developer works closely with interdisciplinary training teams that include subject matter experts to ensure deliverables are met. This position also ensures high quality and engaging learning solutions. Minimum Requirements:

Qualifications

1. Education: Bachelor’s in Adult learning or Instructional Design/Technology; Required Skills• At least 4 years’ experience creating online learning opportunities.• At least 4 years’ experience working with teams of subject matter experts.• At least 4 years’ experience implementing an instructional design process (e.g., ADDIE).• Strong project management skills to achieve design target timelines.• At least 4 years of creating face-to-face courses.• The Department expects the selected candidates to perform the services in a professional manner.

Desired SkillsThe submitted candidate must be able to apply specific knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas:• Child Welfare experience• Proficient with Articulate 360 or similar instructional design tools• Proficient project management skills• Experience designing, developing, and delivering emerging learning solutions including game-based learning, video, micro-learning, simulations, and immersive scenarios strongly preferredPrimary Job Duties/ TasksThe submitted candidate must be able to perform the following duties and/or tasks:• Perform design, development, and implementation.• Define and document development principles, standards, and best practices.• Must be able to communicate clearly, strongly, and effectively.• Highly organized, team player and detail oriented.• Create and develop Title IV-E trainings including but not limited to the Training Courses listed in Attachment D.• The Department reserves the right to modify the trainings that the Vendor shall help create and develop based on the Department’s needs.
