Position: Production Support SME – Highly Critical

Location: Tampa, FL (onsite role)

Duration: Full Time Linux, Sybase, apps dynamics, applications, payments

Job Description:The position is for a strong technical hands-on individual, SME type of a person dealing with support of multiple applications. Must have Distributed Application Production Support experience in financial industry. Also lead experience is preferable. Which means, being able to communicate well, interact with clients, lead a group of support people, manage/own major production incidents/calls, handle PMR (Post-Mortem Review) calls, communicate on issues to various groups including senior management, and related activities. However, we are willing to train for a lead if a person is willing and capable, but strong communication and people skills are a must. Technical experience - Unix, Oracle (or at least knowledge of SQL, able to use and construct SQL queries, understanding of relational database model). Industry - Financial, preferably reference data experience. ITIL experience required:
  • Major Incident and Problem Management
  • Minor Incident Management
  • Change management
  • ServiceNow tool experience preferred
