Oversees all aspects of program execution, including PWS fulfillment, customer and employee relations, and financial and risk management.
Initiates new short- or long-term projects in support of customer requirements.
Anticipates, identifies, and responds to all issues associated with contract execution and customer satisfaction in support of business operations.
Develops strategies and work plans for accomplishing customer taskings and achieving corporate business objectives.
Coordinates and collaborates with corporate support resources to achieve best program outcomes.
Ensures safe working conditions and job practices of contractor workforce.
Identifies opportunities for growth and supports business development efforts.
Conducts staff meetings, briefings (including quarterly Program Management Reviews), and reporting on program activities.
Responsible for specific program metrics including CPARS, CDRLs, DSO, employee turnover, gross margin, and accident prevention/reporting.
Reconciles manual and system-generated reports to track funding, revenue, and costs.
Assists in recruiting contract personnel needed as needed.
Ensures effective contract management by applying industry frameworks and best practices (e.g., PMI, ITIL, etc.).
Location:
Work is performed at the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, 12350 Research Pkwy, Orlando, FL with moderate ability for telework that doesn't negatively impact one's ability to supervise, engage, and lead.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
Active DOD SECRET Clearance (as recorded in DISS).
Bachelor's degree.
Minimum five (5) years of leadership experience in the federal sector (military, civilian, or contractor).
Ability and willingness to travel approximately 5%.
Desired Qualifications:
Current PMP certification.
Experience leading organizations of 15 or more people.
Excellent analytical, organizational, time-management, communications, and human-relations skills.
Experience providing administrative oversight, corporate management, and technical, schedule, and cost direction.
Experience managing incrementally funded, multi-CLIN contracts.
Demonstrated ability to meet objectives driven by firm deadlines.
Previous work experience at NAWCTSD or PEO STRI.
Strong mathematical reasoning and ability to implement in Microsoft Excel.
