RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Boca Raton, FL that is seeking a Programmer/Developer.
Responsibilities: In this role, the Programmer/Developer will provide intermediate to advanced programming, development, and implementation of software applications using C# and .NET core. Debug, maintain, test, and troubleshoot existing code and issues and clearly communicate resolutions to key stakeholders Reverse engineering and debugging of other developer's code Create and re-factor SQL scripts and stored procedures Maintain, improve, and provide support and development of existing applications, including reporting systems utilizing SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or Power BI Assist in the production of ad hoc data queries and reports and in developing or implementing systems to capture or analyze operational and financial data Provide additional systems and database administration support with a strong emphasis on back-office content management and web-based solutions The Programmer/Developer will assist in deploying operating systems, SQL Servers, and SharePoint patches and cumulative updates Adopt, execute, and improve governance and configuration processes to implement approved content, workflow, and configuration changes, and new solutions Design and code relational database-driven web applications in a Microsoft, SharePoint, and/or .NET environment. Develop, implement, administer, and support users using the following tools - SQL, JavaScript, SQL Reporting Services, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, XML Web Services, SharePoint, Blazor, and SQL Server As a Programmer/Developer, you will provide and maintain expert knowledge of stored procedures, database infrastructures, and related back-office servicesREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from an accredited college or university, along with a minimum of two (2) years of IT industry-related experience or over six (6) years of relevant experience supplemented by coursework in the field or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Programming best practices Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies Practical experience developing code using VS Code, and VS Studio (17+) Possess an intermediate level knowledge of SQL and of relational database concepts Experience with web security and the different techniques available for Authentication, Authorization, and web server access control Solid understanding of web application development processes, from the client UI tier to relational database structures Have familiarity with web/application servers and web application deployment Experience with claims-based security, OAuth 2.0, JWT, Active directory, Federation services, and SSO Practical experience with SVN/GIT/TFS/Azure DevOps/GitHub as a source control system Practical experience developing secure RESTful APIs and Services Proven experience working with Entity Framework (6+), EF Core, and or similar ORMs/Micro ORMs Ability to adapt quickly to existing infrastructure comprised of a wide variety of languages and back-end data Experience installing, testing, and troubleshooting related systems and software applications, including multi-platform operating systems and third-party applicationsThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
