Description Robert Half has an urgent need for a Project Manager at a company in the Juno Beach, Florida area. Qualified candidates will have an aptitude for accounting functions and systems and a true knowledge for keeping financial projects on schedule and creating successful outcomes. The Project Manager seeks counsel from a team of Business Analysts in order to complete detailed requirements documentation, a responsibility that may involve data mapping to accounting systems for proper accounting and reporting of transactions. You'll need to bring a knack for cross-functional collaboration, as this role will require you to incorporate input and feedback from the accounting leadership team and from key participants in other functional areas. Crafts governance approaches for the projects to result in clear communication and issue resolution
Ensures accurate work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports, issue management and risk mitigation
Interacts with business users to outline business requirements
Organizes priorities of concurrent project and support assignments and meets stakeholder expectations
Handles project sponsor expectations and interprets business drivers. When required, negotiates changes to project scope, timing, or resources to deliver strategic solutions
Communicates with the development team to describe business requirements and business process design Requirements - Candidate must be able to analyze complex business problems, propose effective solutions and understand and apply business vision and direction
Prefer candidates with a Project Management and/or Business Systems Analyst Certification
Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project, SmartSheet or other similar applications mandatory
Use and act upon independent judgement
The ideal candidate will possess past experience in a key accounting role
5+ years of prior relevant experience- Ability to interact both orally and in writing to executive management, team members, business and technology professionals
Engineering experience
Adeptness in Safety Guidelines
Foundational knowledge in construction
Demonstrated knowledge of contract administration
Project management experience desired
Strong familiarity with scheduling
Command of budget management
Skills in business and technical requirements analysis, documentation, modeling and testing methodologies & development
Proven success acting in a project management capacity
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance & Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
