Our client, a leading global financial services company, has approximately 200 million customer accounts and does business in more than 140 countries. They provide consumers, corporations, governments and institutions with financial products and services, including consumer banking and credit, corporate and investment banking, securities brokerage, transaction services, and wealth management.
Key Responsibilities:Lead development, planning and execution of Lending Transformation Program (LTP) Issue Management (IM) Workstream activities.Provide administrative support to IM Workstream team.Coordinate stakeholders to drive IM Workstream activities and identify dependencies.• Identify and escalate Risks & Issues impacting IM Workstream delivery. Develop and execute mitigation strategies to address Risks & Issues.• Work with Head of LTP to ensure prioritization of critical activities, and plan for IM Workstream are in line with overall LTP objectives.• Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency by improving processes and better aligning resources e.g. administration, operations, reporting. Drive enhancement through partnership with internal teams.• Collaborate with challenge functions in Risk, Compliance and Internal Audit.• Partner with Internal Audit and Global Project Management Office to ensure complete and timely delivery of commitments to regulators, stakeholders and business partners.• Establish strong relationships with stakeholders across Major Global Bank at all levels, businesses and locations.• Track progress delivering critical IM Workstream actions. Ensure leadership, partners and stakeholders are held accountable for delivery. Communicate progress across key stakeholders.• Lead IM Workstream forums including governance, operating committees, workshops and working groups. Capture and drive execution of tactical plans defined at these forums.• Drive adherence to Client's enterprise wide processes, procedures, methods and standards for project delivery.• Communicate IM Workstream Status, Risks and Issues to all stakeholders and governance forums.• Prepare executive level material for senior committee meetings and regulatory bodies.• Ensure creation and sign off for IM Workstream Scope / Requirements Definition Document, Plan, Justification/ Benefits, Critical Success Criteria and RAID log.• Support LTP resourcing strategy and budget processes.• Ensure transformation outcomes for IM Workstream adhere to enterprise control policies, standards, and procedures.• Appropriately assess Risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Major Global Bankgroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparencyQualifications and Competencies:Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.10+ years' experience in project management and business analysis5+ years' experience in Financial Services. Wholesale lending experience preferred.Proven record of delivery in process and organizational change.Attention to detail and commitment to quality.• Ability to drive change and effectively manage projects and stakeholders by developing transformation plans.• influencing stakeholders and working effectively across matrix organizations.Strong organizational leadership and influencing skills.Ability to work in a team environment, listen and collaborate well with others.Proactive, 'no surprises', approach in communicating issues/requests.Capable of prioritizing and multi-tasking in a dynamic environment.Strong business analysis, problem solving and analytical skills.Executive level oral and written communications skills. Articulate, persuasive and to the point.Keen sense of urgency and eagerness for ownership.Works well under pressure and to tight deadlines.Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Power-point, Word, and Outlook effectively.
