Job Description: Sr. Project Manager (SAP)
Sr. Project Manager (SAP) manages all activities related to one or more SAP project(s). Ensures that all SAP project goals are accomplished according to specifications and business objectives. Being a Sr. Project Manager (SAP) requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty (Technology or Financial oriented highly preferred).
In the role of Sr Project Manager, you will take end-to-end responsibility for a portfolio of projects. You will lead the project(s) from beginning to end, from initial proposal through completion (including Vendor Management responsibilities), to provide our clients with high-quality solutions focused on their global business needs. Selected candidates will manage the project team, schedule assignments, monitor and review deliverables of project teams and ensure successful delivery and implementation leveraging Agile Scrum methodology to the SDLC process. This position may be assigned to a client that requires all individuals on-site to have the COVID-19 vaccination. The individual must be fully vaccinated before starting work at such a client site.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology as a Project / Program Manager
4+ years experience supporting SAP implementation, integration, and operations initiatives
Deep understanding and use of Project Management tools; JIRA, MS Project, PowerPoint, JIRA, etc.
SAP ERP/ECC Modules (AP, AR, GL, AA and FA): 5 years (Required)
Functional knowledge to SAP Configuration FICO: 5 years (Required)
Preferred Qualifications
At least 7 years of experience in SAP implementation projects
Ideal candidate should have worked as SAP Functional consultant or SAP technical consultant before leadership role
End to End knowledge of SAP project & Support methodology
Preferred to have managed at least 1 SAP S/4 HANA implementation project
Minimum 3 end to end life cycle implementation / roll outs as project manager
Proficient in SAP project implementation methodologies (Activate & Agile)
Strong business interaction experience required
Good understanding of one of SAP Functional areas and interdependency between SAP modules and non-SAP systems (i.e. Workday, Anaplan, etc.)
Good hands on experience on Project Management & MS office (MS project , Excel & PowerPoint)
Strong management and leadership skills
Should have strong analytical skills, should be team-oriented with excellent multi-tasking and coordination skills.
Strong presentation skills, customer service orientation, and conflict resolution skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing timelines and expectations, and producing high-quality deliverables i.e. proof-of-concepts, RFP, etc.
Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel.
