Description We are looking for a meticulous Public Staff Tax Accountant to join our team in Hollywood, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing taxes for both individuals and companies, managing small business bookkeeping, and navigating busy tax seasons. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Utilize software such as CCH ProSystem Fx and QuickBooks to manage and prepare taxes for individuals and companies Oversee bookkeeping for small businesses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations Manage and organize financial records for desktop and online platforms Handle high volumes of financial data and transactions, particularly during busy tax seasons Contribute to our team's growth and development by bringing a strong understanding of Accounting Functions, Auditing, Cash Activity, and Compliance Deliver excellent customer service, addressing and resolving customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner Leverage skills in software such as Gosystem, Management System, and Microsoft Excel to optimize accounting processes and procedures. Requirements Must possess proficiency in using CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax software Experience with Gosystem and Management System is required Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential Must be capable of performing various accounting functions Experience in auditing is required Must be capable of handling cash activity Familiarity with compliance procedures is necessary Must provide excellent customer service.
