This position reports to the Director of Publishing Operations and Publishing Operations Supervisors. This role is conducted entirely online and is not a writing position. The ideal candidate is motivated to complete their assignments in a timely manner; self-directed; detail-oriented; adaptable; a strong communicator; able to identify patterns; demonstrates good judgment (using common sense, logic, and problem-solving skills); understands when to escalate a situation; takes the initiative where appropriate and particularly where a sense of urgency is required; has the highest standards of customer service; and maintains discretion regarding confidential information.   What you'll be doing: Checking manuscripts to ensure they are complete and adhere to our guidelines; Resolving issues that arise for both internal and external stakeholders, in a timely fashion. Troubleshooting various aspects of the peer-review process  Reviewing accepted articles before publication to ensure compliance with house style Coordinating with authors,reviewers, Academic Editors and typesetters and responding to their queries   Managing post-publication queries and corrections   Cross trained to provide staffing coverage across the team Answer emails/customer service inquiries Assisting with documentation Collaborating on workflows and processes Liaising and collaborating with colleagues
