Role: QA Automation Engineer

Location: Miami, FL

Duration: long term Cloud Migration QE team automation which includes Web, mobile and services automation. The role involves fluency in Test Automation, requirement gathering, understanding of business process, analysis, Review, Design, Execute Test scripts and Report issues. Multiplatform applications require additional responsibilities for instrumenting applications with automated test cases and detailed analytical Skills, Automation feasibility, implementation of Test Automation frameworks and developing the end to end Automation Scripts.

Job Duties:
  • Understanding of manual and automation testing standards/tools.
  • Interacting with business clients to understand the requirements using Agile methodologies and tools.
  • Analyze user requirement and understand the business process.
  • Create and Execute the Test Cases.
  • Create Test Plan and Test Strategies.
  • Develop and enhance Automation Frameworks using Selenium, UFT/QTP, Python or Java
  • Create End to End Automation Scripts for Tracfone Agent System (TAS), Web/Mobile applications and APIs (Restful and SOA Services) which covers all phases of testing activities such as Regression, Functional, Sanity, Integration and Performance etc.
  • Perform Load Testing using Apache JMeter, which ensures the application compatibility against the performance and load.
  • Maintaining source code repository (Bit Bucket).
  • Build and trigger scheduled automation jobs in CI tools like JENKINS.
  • Executing Test Scenarios in Test Management tools like qTest, JIRA and publishing the Test Analysis Reports to stakeholders.
  • Identify Issues in the application and report them in defect management tool JIRA.
  • Documenting process flows and framework enhancements.
