- Test changes to stored procedures and applications to see that they work as designed and do not cause unintended breaks.
- Coordinate testing with the customers for UAT to get approval for production moves.
- Write test plans that are understandable by both the customer and development team.
- Develop and Maintain scripts for automated testing of web applications.
- Maintain status of SMS tickets related to fixes and changes.
- Track and document changes and releases.
- Ability to write and communicate clearly with customers and development team.
- Ability to understand and participate in OC’s software development life cycle.
- Ability to use bug tracking software to communicate with development team.
- Ability to use open source, automated web testing software.
- Ability to perform regression tests.
- Ability to understand and use SQL tools and SQL for Data Analysis.
- Knowledge of web applications, HTML and JavaScript.
- Some development experience or experience working with a dev team.
- Experience with a Land Management System for permitting.
- Experience with Amanda.
