Interested candidates, please email your updated resume to rhamelin@aerotek.comDescription:Currently seeking an experienced engine aftermarket shipping and receiving inspector who has a solid work ethic, strong communication skills, a commitment to accuracy and an ability to work in teams.Conduct Preliminary/Incoming inspections for all articles maintained including obvious damage, hidden damage inspection, customer paperwork review including confirmation of correct Part number, Serial Number, notation of flight cycles and flight hours. Review applicable Aircraft Maintenance Manuals/ Engine Manuals/Component Maintenance Manuals for any findings on articles as required. Ascertain that no defective, unserviceable, or un-airworthy parts are accepted as delivered to the Repair Station. Management of all certifications of incoming articles electronically and hard copy. Assuring that all items, which have shelf-life restrictions, are properly identified & maintained. Must have excellent computer keyboarding skills in order to accurately input large amounts of data entry, and experienced with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel. Must be detail oriented and pay close attention to accuracy of work performed. Must be heavy Forklift certified or willing to get certified Loading and unloading Jet engines from trailers, as well as moving engine parts around the warehouseSkills:

Engine inspection, 8130 forms, Aviation, logs and records, inventory, engine logistics

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Powerplant License and 2+ years of Aviation Experience Quality/Inspection/Material Control/Shipping/Receiving experience within an aviation environment (preferably an engine shop)

Inspectors report to the Quality Manager for issues related to duties for the inspection of work done on articles. Ability to work independently and as member of a Quality and Supply Chain Team.

Ability to adapt work schedule to meet program and company needs.

Ability to schedule and manage multiple tasks.

Ability to interact with wide variety of people in calm, clear, non-threatening, collaborative manner.

Good communication skills including written, verbal, in person, and by telephone, as well as logical and thinking skills, and ability to problem solve.

Receiving of articles, conduct preliminary/incoming inspection on articles maintained including obvious damage, hidden damage inspection, and customer paperwork.

Shipping of articles, create bill of ladings, packing lists, measuring weight and dimensions, and loading into transport vehicles.

Taking detailed pictures of all articles shipped/received and upload pictures into designated company server.

Monitor and inventory Repair Station Scrap/Calibration/Tooling Rooms.
