Description: Job Title: Quality Technician B Job Code: CS20211910-71214 Job Location: Palm Bay, FL Job Description: L3Harris corporation is seeking an energetic Quality Technician to perform inspection of electrical and/or mechanical components and systems for commercial and government programs in accordance to drawings, work orders and specifications. Utilizes knowledge to identify defects in workmanship and/or performance. Capture and maintain configuration records, perform in-process and final inspections per paper and electronic work orders. Ensure manufacturing processes are accurately followed and properly documented. Uses electronic equipment to collect and evaluate operating data necessary for the successful operation of the unit. Qualifications: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. Preferred Additional Skills: Good computer skills essential for accessing drawings, documenting non-conformances, and work order documentation.

Ability to work overtime, including weekends, on short notice and for possible long durations to support contractual delivery schedules

Must be flexible to changing needs and priorities, must be able to work in a team environment. Strong people skills are a must.

Ability to learn/perform mechanical hardware inspection and perform complex inspection from ground module assemblies to large reflector assemblies

Excellent Communication and People skills, both oral and written Candidate must be self-starter and practice excellent customer service

Able to multi-task and work as both an independent contributor and/or a team member
