RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce's client one of the world's largest financial institutions is seeking a Linux Red Hat Automation Engineer in Tampa (FL), Plano (TX), Delaware (DE), Atlanta (GA) or Columbus (OH). This is an opportunity post contract to be a fulltime employee with client.
Summary:As a member of the Infrastructure Engineering team, the Red Hat Linux Automation Engineer will design, build, and maintain enterprise Linux-based services. This role will play a big part in designing the platforms, servers, and networks that make it possible for us to provide service to our customers, clients, and businesses around the globe each and every day. As a Red Hat Linux Automation Engineer, you will call on your experience designing tailored solutions to understand the requirements of a project, test the performance of the infrastructure, and verify that the requirements have been successfully met. As a team, you and your peers will be responsible for driving results, collecting, and analyzing monitoring data in test and production, and managing projects to completion. And while you'll be part of a tight-knit team of engineers who share your passion for technology, you'll also gain access to the best minds in the business.REQUIREMENTS: BS/BA degree or 6+ years of Enterprise Linux Prior experience in RedHat Enterprise Systems administration Experience with Infrastructure Technology and scripting (Python/Perl/Bash) Modern compute technologies (e.g., virtualization, cloud, network, storage) Experience with automation (e.g., Puppet, Ansible) Experience working across large infrastructure environments and distributed across multiple data centersThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
