We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to join our team.

As a Behavior Technician, you will work with individuals, particularly children, with autism or developmental disabilities to implement behavior plans and provide support from Palm Beach to Miami area.

Responsibilities:

As an RBT you will be primarily responsible for the direct implementation of ABA-based treatment programs designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to help young children develop important skills like communication and language, socialization, functional play, school readiness, and daily life skills to enhance their independent functioning

- Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy in-home, school, and community-based environments.

- Collect data on individual's progress and behaviors

- Assist in the development of individualized care plans

- Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure consistency in implementing behavior plans

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress

- You will also receive extensive training and supervision from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst

- Collect and record data through data based software

Experience:

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities

- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and strategies

- Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health

- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

- Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and colleagues

- Understanding of special education principles

- Proficiency in creating and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs

- Childcare, healthcare, or mental health preferred (but we will train the right candidate)

- Dependability: Consistency and reliability is crucial for the child's success

- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication in English

Education - Qualification

- High School Diploma or College Degree - Education- Psychology or related field

- RBT certification

- Level II Background Screening

- Drivers License

- Pre-employment Drug/Alcohol Screening

- Medicaid provider if you have or we will help you to apply for one

- CPR certified and Other CEU's

- Availability for early morning, early afternoon to evening hours

- Fluent in English> Bilingual is a plus!
