HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital located on Florida's Emerald Coast, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to complete our Team in NICU!

HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is the only Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the tri-county area. The NICU staff, including neonatologists, neonatal nurses, therapists, and pharmacy staff work together to provide the highest level of care for their NICU patients.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The NICU RN will provide routine-to-acute primary care, assessment, intervention, evaluation and transport services to critically ill, convalescing, and/or chronically ill newborn infants within a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit setting.

Qualifications

EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:

• Associate Degree, Diploma in Nursing, or BSN required

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

• State of Florida RN License required
• BLS AHA Healthcare Provider required upon hire
• NRP required within 90 days of hire
• S.T.A.B.L.E. required within 90 days of hire

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:

• Previous Maternal-child nursing experience preferred
• NICU experience strongly preferred
