JOB DUTIES: Reviews and processes less complex applications for licensure in select program areas. This includes visually verifying scanned documents are complete and legible. Reviews related documents, including insurance, bonds, tax returns and other financial data for compliance with Florida laws, rules and regulations and enters data into the database. Prepares and sends correspondence requesting corrections when necessary. Enters new and renewal application and all related data into the bureau's licensure database and tracks license status. Scans fingerprints into Livescan. Corresponds with applicants and other entities to verify, correct and process information. Follows up to ensure that application is processed through all procedural steps. Issues and mails out licenses. Communicates with businesses and other division staff to ensure effective and efficient handling of bureau responsibilities. Processes requested inquiry letters to businesses to ensure compliance to Florida statutes. Creates and refers cases to Mediation and Enforcement in select program areas for expired licenses, no response to inquiry letters, and no response to denial letters. Responds to stakeholders’ inquiries regarding licensure and other bureau activities. Assists in maintaining the programs’ email, voicemail and fax accounts. Assists other sections within the bureau when requested. Performs related work and other tasks as required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
