Release Manager-Immediate Need-Direct Client

Hi We have a direct client requirement for Release Manager @ Miami FL

• Project Management experience
• Team and time leadership skills
• Effective communication, able to collaborate with technology teams, senior Product leads and business/technology executives.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodology, Software development lifecycle, and CI/CD processes/tools.

• Owning and managing releases

• Coordinate the release schedule and resources required depending upon the third-party applications, defect backlogs, planned releases, and infrastructure updates.
• Identify the risks that can delay the release and manage them, such that the scope scheduled, and quality of the release is not affected.
• Schedule the release readiness reviews before deployment and landmark reviews after each release.
• Schedule the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to discuss the release schedules with the team and find roadblocks, if any.
• Make sure the allocation of Release Engineers to every release.
• Connect with release managers from different IT departments.
• Lead the launch activities to deploy the software successfully.
• Lead the Disaster Recovery activities twice a year by collaborating across teams, ensuring each product area has a complete DR testing, fall back plan and execution steps detailed.
• Collaborate with broader organization and Enterprise Infrastructure teams to keep track of TLM (Technology Lifecycle Management) and Technology Risk Efforts across the Product areas.
