District Tavern, serving the Channel District near Downtown Tampa for nearly 9 years, is hiring for the General Manager role. We are seeking a very detail oriented, fun, energetic, well qualified candidate for General Manager/Bartending role, that has oversight with BOH.

Applicants should be able to work various hours, including weekends and late nights. Restaurant hours are 11am-3am each day.

Responsibilities include overseeing operations and being directly involved in all aspects of the District Tavern.

Manage the front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) teams, including cost control and inventory management for both FOH and BOH. Create and implement schedules, organize promotional contests to increase sales and revenue, and meet with representatives.

Duties will include, but are not limited to assisting with inventory and cost controls for FOH operation, assist in scheduling events and restaurant FOH scheduling and BOH scheduling oversight.

Candidate will be required to coach, develop and enforce existing and new policies and procedures. Ensure total guest and employee satisfaction and contribute to new ideas while ensure entire operation is top priority.

Applicants must have at least 3 years prior management experience in the bar and restaurant industry.

At least 3 years of prior restaurant experience is required along with having worked in fast paced work environments. Please be prepared to provide prior work experience and references.

Looking to fill position ASAP, pay rate may be negotiable based on experience. Additional bonus opportunities may be available as well.
