Sales Associate

Job Description

This position is field-based and a natural progression into a Multimedia Solutions Representative position.

• Manage, service and increase sales for existing account base – 30%
• Cold call and generate leads for assigned sales executives to sell – 20%
• Handles any client request or concern in the assigned account base – 10%
• Interface with internal departments as well as client to ensure smooth flow of work – 10%
• Deliver books, pick up checks &ad copy as needed – 10%
• Interacts with internal and external peers and/or managers. Exchange semi-routine information related to assigned activities – 10%
• Able to react to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned – 10%

Qualifications

• 2-5 years customer service and/or outside/inside sales experience
• Strong knowledge of all Clipper products

• Strong cold calling skills
• Problem solving ability a must
• Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Must be able to multi-task and meet magazine deadlines
• Flexible in handling different situations
