The Sales Support position is part of a team that assists and supports sales personnel working with CPG and other companies and acts as a liaison with our operations and procurement vendors. They will manage project timelines, workflow and administrative tasks in order to meet deadlines and budget constraints in accordance with the companies’ process. Sales Support is responsible for understanding the details of each assignment and assisting with the communicating those details. The incumbent in this position will procure and build presentations base on promotional merchandise, displays, POS and other data needed based on the ask and needs of the clients. Sales Support will compile monthly reports, analyze and recommend changes to operating practices, along with providing assistance to the team.
Essential Functions of this Position (list in order of most important to least important):
1. Assist sales member in preparation of contracts and program execution documents.
2. Create sales presentations, schedule client meetings, obtain program information from clients
3. Assist marketing team with coordination of all company marketing strategy and market research
4. Coordinate with Sales team to pull information to prepare presentations decks
5. Procure pricing, and elements of the items based on request as well as coordinate with creative team, logistics and production team to facilitate request with vendors
6. Meet internal deadlines and communicate in writing all activity, program process and execution details on a regular basis
7. Miscellaneous projects as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or its equivalent; some college coursework is advantageous but not mandatory
Entry-level candidates are welcome; 1-2 years of sales experience is preferred
Skills & Knowledge
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related computer software; experience with CRM software is a bonus
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
