Seasonal Farm worker wanted

Egg farm looking for farm worker outside of Palatka, FL.

Authorization to work in US Required

Busy farm looking to fill a farm worker position for a production worker.

Requirements are as follows:

●Farm experience required, egg farm background preferred

● Collect eggs from conveyor belt, coop floor, and nest boxes

● Manage pest control in your assigned area and assist around the farm

● Utilize tablets to be responsible for all documentation and reporting that must be done daily, weekly, and monthly

●Assist with lawn care throughout farm, along with repairs and maintenance of both equipment and structures

●Strict compliance to all corporate, FDA, and AHS regulations for animal care and biosecurity measures.

Physical Requirements:

●Ability to lift above your head with no restrictions

●Ability to bend to pick up items from floor

●Ability to lift 50 lbs or more

●Ability to pick and pack eggs with both hands at a fast pace

●Ability to work around harsh chemicals

●Ability to utilize electronics to complete required reports (tablets, laptop, cell phone, printer)

●Ability to read and write English

Hours:

Hours vary with infrequent overtime as required

● Shift starts at 6 am with a two hour lunch and ends around 5 pm but this schedule is approximate.

Pay:

Due to the 24 hour care of the farm, Pay includes an hourly wage plus the cost of rent and utilities.

● A bed in the farm house will be provided with access to all house use including kitchen for your own cooking, laundry room, and rest of home
