Description: Job Title: Program Security Administrator Job Code: SAS20231502-97116 Job Location: Melbourne, FL Job Description: Commensurate with the position of Program Security Administrator, incumbent is responsible for managing the COMSEC, document control and asset tracking program for the L3Harris Space and Airborne Systems (S&AS) Business Unit. As the on-site security professional, the position will manage COMSEC, sanitize non-electronic media, complete destruction of classified hard copy material and ensure all classified electronic media with the secure area is tracked from introduction to destruction. Essential Functions: Traverse secure areas, across multiple floors and buildings, collecting non-electronic media for sanitization. Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
Manage the COMSEC account and keying of encryptors
Interact with different database software or automated asset tracking tools to track and update hardware records
Conduct equipment inspections to ensure proper tracking and accountability
Print and provide classification labels to equipment custodians as needed
Operate large commercial paper, optical media, and hard drive destruction devices
Operate electronic media degaussers
Operate electronic media disintegrators
Disassemble Information Technology equipment to include removing hard drives from their case, removing solid state drives from circuit boards, and disassembling cellphones and laptops.
Manage, enforce, and improve processes for media sanitization, equipment tracking and labeling, and inspection
Proficient in computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office
Proficient oral and written communication skills
Qualifications:
An active security clearance is required; TS/SCI
High School diploma and six years of related security experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
CompTIA IT Fundamentals or A+ Certification
Possession or in pursuit of a 2-year college degree
Knowledge and oversight in multiple security disciplines, to include Personnel Security for Special Access Programs (SAPs)
