We’ll enable growth and progress together.The Role:The Senior Application Support Analyst, Technical Lead is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within the field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application within their own job and business. This position will be recognized as the technical authority for an area in the business. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. The ideal candidate has strong communication and diplomacy skills to appropriately guide, influence and convince others specifically colleagues in other areas and occasionally external customers. This individual would effectively provide advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. This line of work impacts a major area of the business, which ultimately effects the overall performance and effectiveness of the function group.Responsibilities:

Partner with multiple technology teams in different areas to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals

Identify and define necessary system enhancements

Analyze existing system logic, identify problems, and recommend/implement solutions

Provide expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of apps support

Formulate and define systems scope and objectives for complex, high impact application enhancements and problem resolution through in-depth analysis and evaluation of complex business processes, systems and industry standards, while documenting requirements

Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts and Systems Analysts to determine and document Systems Impacts and support requirements

Consider the implications of the technology application to the current environment

Identify risks, vulnerabilities and security issues

Communicate impact and propose risk mitigation options

Act as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts including the allocation of work

Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions

Directly impact the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services

Persuade and influence others through strong and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills

Perform other duties and functions as assigned

Qualifications:

5+ years' experience in an Application Development Support role working with technologies like Java, J2EE, SCALA, SPARK, Oracle, Big Data, Power BI, Ab Initio/ETL

Programming in JAVA/SCALA is an absolute requirement

At least 2 years' experience with SPARK real time production development

Good problem solving using RDD’s and programming

Experience with performance tuning solutions in handling TB’s of data volume or million rows records/complex transformations

Good HIVE and SQL knowledge

Experience in regulatory finance and liquidity area

Practical problem solving and strategic thinking skills

Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal skills and relationship building skills

Service oriented attitude

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Experience working or leading requirement gathering efforts for multiple large development projects at one-time

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Education:

Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent work experience
