Ledgent Technology is seeking a

Senior AWS Solution Architect.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - ProfessionalCandidates who do not possess this certification will not be considered. This is a

full-time remote position.

What you will be doing:
  • Create and build highly scalable, flexible, resilient, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures
  • Support the organization to adopt advanced cloud-based solutions and migrate existing on-premise workloads to the cloud
  • Possess the customer technical engagement
  • Function cross-organizationally to facilitate widespread use and adoption of the AWS platform
  • Maintain deep expertise in AWS technologies around how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform

What you should bring to the table:
  • Degree in related field or 12+ years of related work experience

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional
  • 7+ years: design, implementation, or consulting experience with large-scale, distributed, enterprise applications
  • 5+ years: design, implementation, or consulting experience with Enterprise applications and infrastructures
  • 8+ years: within specific technology domain areas (e.g. cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
  • Architecting/building/operating solutions on AWS
  • Building large-scale architectures involving public cloud platforms and on-premise technologies to meet business requirements
  • Communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level stakeholders or clients
  • Migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
  • Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Cloud technologies around operational management, high availability, disaster recovery, security, and risk/compliance frameworks
