The Senior Technical Support Engineer assists with the initiation, design and development and leads the implementation of product improvements and changes.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Supports product development by leading efforts to acquire technical information regarding product performance, competitive features and clinical / research requirements, supporting the product development process by ensuring Technical Support deliverables are met.

Creates product documentation, approves service procedures, provides guidance on service ability and performs service cost analysis.

Directly assists Field Service Engineers globally on product performance issues.

Mentors global product specialists and defines appropriate training plans and practices. Creates training materials and presents training.

Provides plans and schedules to project and program management teams. Service Support CORE team lead representation for project teams and ensures on time completion of Technical Support deliverables to those projects.

Runs and creates KPIs, DM, creates PSP and temporary CM's.

Leads in the preparation of Service Manuals and Update Documents.

The essential requirements of the job include:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field with 5+ years’ experience OR Master’s degree in Engineering or related technical field with 3+ years’ experience OR Doctoral Engineering or related technical field with 0-2+ years’ experience.

Experience with data analysis and statistical analysis

Experience in technical writing and documentation required

Previous experience in medical device industry with working knowledge of ISO 13485 desired

Project Management experience
