Job Details

We're looking for a skilled Senior Java Developer to help us design, create, extend, and maintain the core of our client's connected vehicle software platform as they expand past current offerings in services related to safety, security and convenience in order to take our business to the next level. You'll focus on transforming an existing CV platform from an on premise, monolithic, closed architecture system to a modern, open, micro-services, cloud based system.

What you'll do

Develop functionality for an AWS-based microservices architectureHelp architect the overall systemHelp troubleshoot issues at the microservice and/or integration level

Required Qualifications

Significant experience with Java with a focus on cloud-based backend developmentJUnit, Mockito, etc.Excellent communication skillsExperience with microservice implementation in AWS

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Scala, especially in the context of backend developmentThe ability to lead a small team of developers and mentor on engineering best practices
