Job Title: Senior Manager, Operations Management Job Code: 14384 Job Location: Palm Bay, FL/Clifton, NJ/Rochester, NY/Amityville, NY Job Description: This position provides overall leadership to the SAS Operations Training and Development program including direct management of the Leadership Engagement and Development Rotation (LEADR) program. The person is charged with overseeing the program which includes managing participants, program activities, collaborating with SAS Operations senior leadership and Sector leadership, establishing and managing the rotations for program members, and facilitating mentoring opportunities. Additionally, this role will be responsible for developing and deploying an optimized training strategy for SAS Operations.

Manage all LEADR cohort members. This includes all administrative/personnel processes

Create/maintain a two-year rotation plan for each cohort. Collaborate with Sector/Site leadership at multiple sites, to ensure rotations are established and meet business needs

Establish/maintain selection process for new cohorts. This includes information sessions, creating and managing applications, coordinating interview/selection teams.

Develop all LEADR internal and external marketing communications including briefing at Operations leadership staff meetings, mass emails, periodic LEADR updates/releases, Edge/Nexus articles, Director’s Corner.

Ensure proper communications with applicants, Human Resources, functional managers, and sector leadership.

Identify and communicate rotation manager expectations and collaborate with rotation managers during duration of rotational assignments.

Conduct quarterly steering committee meetings to discuss program issues and strategies.

Coordinate networking events with leadership and cohort members include leadership round tables, community volunteer events, networking events, program summits/graduations, etc.

Develop/maintain post-graduation placement planning tool. This includes working with Sector leaders and Senior Operations leaders to identify business needs and match graduating cohort members to positions after graduation.

Develop training roadmap. This includes leadership training as well as business-related trainings to help understand business operations. Coordinate this with steering committee and leadership on training curriculum.

Identify further education/certifications (MBA, APICS, CPSM, CPSD, GreenBelt).

Coordinate and assign Leadership Mentor assignments.

Develop/coordinate training programs including Operations Engineering Training (OET), e3 training, skills training and employee certifications, etc.

Qualifications:

Requires broad management and leadership knowledge to lead cross-department project teams or manage across the function. Typically has mastery within a specific technical area or broad expertise across multiple related job areas. Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
