Title: Senior .Net Developer

Location: Remote

Salary Range: $120,000-$130,000

An ICS client is seeking a direct hire, senior .Net Web Developer to provide assistance in the development of high-quality web applications.

The position will primarily focus on the following:
  • Supporting applications (addressing production level issues within our code)
  • Recognizing repeating or redundant issues and not just "put out the fire" but propose and implement long term solutions
  • Performance and optimization (code and database)
  • Provide feedback to development teams on what they are seeing in identified issues
  • Job Duties
    • Build new systems with .NET 4.0 - 4.6 / ASP.NET / C# / SQL Server 2012 - 2016 / WCF Web Services / WCF Data Services / Microsoft.Net Workflow (WF) / LINQ / MVC .NET
    • Maintain and add features to existing systems/products with .NET 4.0 - 4.6 / ASP.NET / C# / SQL Server 2008-2012 / ASP.Net Web Services / MVC .NET
    • Lead/mentor developers and share knowledge through knowledge-sharing presentations.
    • Participate in a small, experienced, energetic team on a rapid, agile development schedule.
    • All other responsibilities as assigned
    Skills / Attributes Required
    • Six (+) year's experience as a developer (lead developer would be a plus).
    • Three(+) year's experience with ASP.NET/C#.NET.
    • Two(+) years working with SQL Server (2012/2016 preferred).
    • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP).
    • Solid understanding of the Waterfall and Agile Software Development methods.
    • Analyzing Information, Software Debugging, Software Documentation, Software Testing
    • Deep knowledge of the .NET 4.0/4.6 Framework, including Visual Studio 2012/2013, C#, ASP.NET, ASMX and WCF Web Services, MVC, and ADO.NET.
    • Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices.
    • Strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA).
    • Ability to design and optimize SQL Server 2012/2016 stored procedures.
    • Experience with JQuery, AJAX (CSS, Javascript libraries, knockout.js, Angular.js are a plus)
    • Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
    • Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary.
    • Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills.
    • Passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices while leading and mentoring a team of developers.
