We are working on an opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer. Our client is located in Orlando, FL. Initial phase is 18 months. We trying to find a well-rounded senior engineer. It will require a couple days onsite.Responsibilities include:Supporting the design and deployment of attraction wired and wireless ICS networks and supervisory systems for world class themed entertainment experiences.Support the design of compliant network models to enforce security and increase network segregation and security among ride show networksConfiguring firewalls, servers, and switching hardware to maximize network efficiency and securitySupport of the design deployment of network and monitoring systemsPerform daily checks on outstanding project tasks keep the team updated with completed milestonesIdentify, monitor, and communicate to management task performance risks, issues, problems, and participate in the development and implementation of mitigations or provide hands-on assistance as neededClarify issues or questions for team members and stakeholders and provide the necessary support to remove roadblocks and keep projects moving forwardParticipate in reviews of attraction network architecture and ensure appropriate security, scalability, safety, redundancy, reliability, and sustainability design strategies are in place and are given proper weighting in the design objectives.Manage technology vendorsDesign and execution of acceptance testing strategiesGenerate system level documentation and manualsMaintain configuration management of hardware and software documentationPerform other duties as assigned Qualifications/Requirements:Experience working in OT/ICS environments5+ years of experience with networking environmentsExcellent Layer 2 & 3 networking skills. Solid understanding of access and distribution LAN switching environments with VLANs, RSTP, EtherChannel, Multicast and QoSStrong knowledge of firewall configuration and troubleshootingExperience with wireless LAN technologiesExposure to virtualization technologiesExperience with common network services, SNMP, Syslog, DNS, NTP, DHCP, AD, etc.Experience with SNMPv3 monitoring and management toolsAnalyze network performance using Wireshark and provide root cause analysis, recommendations, guidance, and expertise in maintaining the highest level of performancePerform complex troubleshooting, backup, archiving, and recoveryStrong documentation skillsSolid understanding change control processes
