Grow your career as a Senior Program Manager with an innovative global bank in Tampa, FL. Long-term contract with excellent growth potential. Will be required to be onsite 2-3 days per week. Will oversee application development transformation projects. Will also be working with Technical Leads and executive management overseeing a diverse portfolio.

Responsibilities:
  • Workwith wider program team to develop program plans, budgets, success criteria, and other program artifacts.
  • Trackstatus, maintainthe plan, generateprogram metrics and status reports, and conductstatus meetings on required cycles. Ensureall stakeholders are informed with the appropriate level of detail.
  • Continuously evaluateprograms to ensure they are meeting standards, adhering to budgets, meeting deadlines and delivering required benefits. Knowprogram details as well as "the big picture".
  • Driveengagement and accountability of project participants. Ensurethe right people provide inputs and approvals at the right times. Is sensitive to global participation, and provides reasonable accommodation for colleagues in different time zones.
  • Proactively identify and documentrisks and issues, workwith team members to define and execute mitigations and resolutions. Ensures appropriate and timely escalations. Accountable for getting programs back on track when necessary.
  • Knowcompany policies, procedures, and tools. Workwith PMO to ensure programs stay compliant with evolving policy and procedures. Ensuredata is updated correctly and timely in required tools. Actively seek, and workwith leads, to identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement of the program management process.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/University degree is required.
  • 10+ years of work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT Program and Project management with a track record of driving results on large scale programs.
  • Success facilitating global and cross-functional teams.
  • Must have application development project/program management experience.
  • Must have financial industry experience.
  • Strongly prefer capital markets or treasury experience.
  • Strongly prefer knowledge of finance and treasury process.
  • Prefer prior hands-on development experience.
  • Proficient in key software tools such as MS Office tools, Jira, SharePoint.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)
  • Willing to learn and adopt new tools, new processes.
  • Attention to detail, including spelling, punctuation and stakeholder preferred formatting.
