TIBCO Developer/Analyst - NO C2C

Location: Tampa, FL. (Will begin remotely but will be required to be on-site in the future)

Contract length: 12 months or longer
  • Provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new IS software projects and initiatives
  • Provide lead experience to other Tibco Developers on future projects for best practices on new development and integrations
  • Investigate and resolve application functionality-related issues for CRM, TIBCO, and BigMachines (BM-CPQ system/Oracle CPQ)
  • Provide user support and troubleshooting of both sales systems and middleware
  • Assist in managing outsourced relationships for 3rd party application development and programming consultants.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements.
  • Analyze data contained in the corporate database and identify data integrity issues with existing and proposed systems and implement solutions.
  • Provide assistance and advice to business users in the effective use of applications and information technology.
  • Perform coding in support of small projects and ad hoc defect remediation
  • Assist with database maintenance (Oracle CRM, Oracle JDE, and TIBCO)
  • Write technical specifications
  • Strong understanding of Agile SDLC methodology
  • Assist in the creation of the system design and functional specifications for all new development projects.
  • Write release plans and deploy code for sales systems
  • Perform integration testing of enterprise systems
  • Assist with Post Implementation validation

Qualifications/ Ideal candidate profile:
  • Hands on experience in RESTful, JSON, XML, XSLT, SOAP web services.
  • 5+ years experience with Java/J2EE experience such as core Java, Spring MVC, Struts and Java Message Service (JMS)
  • Required experience with Agile SDLC (Waterfall methodology experience is a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience with multi-system, enterprise level software development for TIBCO, BM/Oracle CPQ, Oracle JDE
  • Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripts.
  • Be proficient to develop and modify code in Java (extensively using Tibco and Oracle CRM)
  • Ability to plan tasks and track progress against an integrated team project plan (JIRA and Confluence)
  • Sound business judgment and the ability to escalate critical matters to management promptly
  • Ability to identify potential risks, impacts, and software dependencies
  • BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent; related work experience may be substituted for educational requirement.

Compensation: The estimated pay range for this position is USD $72.00/hr - USD $82.00/hr and is an Exempt role. Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
