RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Fort Lauderdale, FL that is seeking a Service Desk Manager/Help Desk Manager.

Responsibilities: In this role, the Service Desk Manager/Help Desk Manager manages staff, assigns work, provides direction, training, and guidance, establishes performance expectations, reviews work, processes employee concerns, completes performance appraisals, and recommends disciplinary actions as necessary Develops and implements policies and procedures, reviews and evaluates work products, methods and procedures Maintains liaison with all IT sections to keep abreast of policy and procedural changes; Develops and reviews procedures for Service Desk operating/procedure manuals Manages all service management tools with respect to Service Desk management e.g. the work order system and incident management process Manages the evaluation, development, procurement and implementation of new technology and develops technology standards The Service Desk Manager/Help Desk Manager develops, implements and monitors work plans; directs the development of and monitors performance against annual budget; Manages and directs the development, implementation and evaluation of work programs Develops of fiscal requirements and prepares budget recommendations and spending plan Prepares and administers project budgets; submits justifications for budget requests Coordinates projects and work activities with other divisions, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors As a Service Desk Manager/Help Desk Manager, this role owns the strategic roadmap related to IT technology and Service Desk operations and programs

REQUIREMENTS: 5-7 years of recent experience in IT, service desk, help-desk, with strong working knowledge of Apple/iOS products Candidates qualifying for this position will have similar experience along with the skills and abilities to perform the duties mentioned Any relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
