I/S provides the information technology required for all Publix business units including retail stores and all office and warehouse environments. The Publix I/S mission is to maximize the value of information technology to Publix associates and customers. The Supply Chain Platform Team is looking for a Software Engineer who will:
- Under specific guidance, create detailed technical specifications for moderately complex technical solutions from designs, program specifications and/or product backlog items from which programs will be written
- Design, code, unit test, debug, document, implement, and maintain those programs
- Write, modify, and automate unit test plans, scripts, and cases for moderately complex programs and/or application packages
- Work effectively in a team environment by providing direction to newer software engineers, taking technical direction from architecture, technical leads, and scrum masters
- .NET Core/.Net 6.0, C#, VB.Net, ASP.NET MVC, Angular, TFS, Devops, Azure, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, AJAX, PowerShell, PL/SQL, SSRS, SSIS, Octopus, Splunk, Dynatrace and many more!
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related analytical field or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of software engineering experience in web, service-oriented architecture, or application development
- 1+ years of experience with highly complex distributed systems
- 1+ years of Object-Oriented Design and Development (.Net, Angular, etc.)
- 1+ years of database experience (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
- Experience or desire to work in an agile development environment
