Be part of our talented team and send your resume today!As a Manager of Software Quality Assurance, you'll be responsible for:- Managing a team of QA employees
- Assuring management that new and refactored features are free of defects
- Taking ownership of the defect correction workflow within the Application Development team
- Being an advocate for Best Practices and Quality throughout the company
- Conducting ongoing testing of minor feature releases
- Suggesting improvements and documenting defects for our enterprise e-commerce system
- Setting up, scripting, and running independent performance, security, and automation tools
- Writing and implementing test plans for new projects
- Conducting user acceptance testing sessions
- Organizing Beta and A/B tests
- Maintaining our defect documentation system
- Organizing daily efforts
- Hiring and Managing a QA team
- Mentoring Jr staff on Enterprise QA Policy
- Testing web and mobile applications
- Writing test plans
- Scripting automated testing tools
- Conducting or organizing User Acceptance tests
- Conducting or organizing Beta tests
- Using documentation systems
- Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day-to-day tasks.
- Access to a home router and modem.
- A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free. The space should have strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible).
- A valid, physical address (apartment, suite, etc.). PO Boxes are not supported, as a physical address is required for you to receive your computer equipment.
- The desire and ability to work and communicate with other team members via chat, webcam, etc.
