We are pioneers of high-performance air and missile defense, air-to-air, precision fires, close combat, sustainment, sensors, strike system and energy storage solutions providing our war fighting and civilian customers the products and services they need in their defining moments.Lockheed Martin is seeking a Software Quality Engineer Staff for a position in Orlando, Fl to develop and maintain Systems and Software Quality Engineering common processes that are aligned with AS9100 Quality Management System, Program and Customer requirements.Basic Qualifications:Technical Engineering degree preferably in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical EngineeringMust be able to obtain a Secret clearanceExperience with product development phasesDemonstrated basic understanding of audit techniquesSoftware Quality or Engineering experience in Requirements Analysis, Design/Development, Product Integration and TestExperience with verification and validation processesEffective interpersonal skills, including Team building and CollaborationDesired Skills:Corrective Action Board (Process, Command Media, corrective action , preventive action, Root Cause Analysis)Experience driving strategies resulting in the strengthening the Software Quality Management Systems both at internal sites and at key software suppliersExperience with presentation & problem solving skillsExperience working withGovernment customers and stakeholdersProficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt)ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CSQ) and / or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)Strong knowledge of Industry recognized Quality Systems/Models such as Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI), QMS System Audit (AS9100, ISO9001)Experience with development, production, and sustainmentSAPSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: SecretOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
