Business / Solutions Analyst for our long-time financial services client in Tampa, FL This is a full-time, direct-hire position located in Tampa, FL (Westshore area). There is a hybrid work schedule (2 days remote / 3 days in the office) so you must live in the Tampa area.

Other Duties include:
  • Performs solution analysis in the course of technical discovery, solution design, development, and implementation as necessary to develop solutions
  • Partners with functional groups within the organization to clarify and document functional and non-functional business requirements, use cases, and business rules.
  • Creates workflow diagrams that reflect current and future states and performs gap analyses between current and future states
  • Participates with the team to define test cases and support testing.
  • Develops presentations to business and technical partners to communicate/sell findings and recommendations

Requirements:
  • Degreed or related experience and at least 8 years of applicable business/solution analysis background

  • Experience in writing SQL queries
  • Agile experience
  • Demonstrates outstanding interpersonal skills with an emphasis on proactive brainstorming and debating dialogues
  • Requires high energy, positive thinking, and an assertive personality that is perceived as professional, open, intelligent, and a remarkable contributor to any team

  • Ability to read XML and JSON data models

  • Data Mapping experience
  • Knowledge of Life Insurance and ACORD is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of Web Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) preferred
