We need a
SQL Developer for a 6-month contract with a remote option and 1-2 days in the office (if local in Polk County/Central Florida). Local, regional Polk County, Western Orlando, or Eastern Hillsborough County candidates are highly preferred.This role will involve gathering requirements, working with stakeholders to build reports, creating ETL (SSIS) packages, managing data loads, etc. for users.Requirements1-2 years of experience as a SQL DeveloperSQL Querying/Structure (experience writing complex SQL queries and understanding database structures)SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) - building reports, embed queries, manipulating parameters, etc.)Building ETL packages using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)Experience with version control systemsUnderstand the typical Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC)Comfortable with peer reviews, submitting implementation requests, and test casesDesired skills:Ability to build reports/dashboards using Microsoft's Power BI toolsetDAX (know and understand languages used in tabular models)Electronic Data Interchange (EDI - know and understand the transfer of data between a company and its Supply Chain)U.S. Citizens or holders only, please.
